We finally closed on our house this past Wednesday (March 19, 2008). It took a while, but boy does it feel good to be done. Now we have the electrician over to re-wire, we'll have a drywaller come in to make repairs, painters coming to give quotes, and maybe even a lawn man to rip out some bushes! We've got lots of plans for the house, and of course I want them all done now! We'll host a party sometime soon - but for now we have LOTS of packing to do!

Congrats! Boy, can you fit more into the next 9 months?! We are excited for you both. I wish we were there to help out. After buying two homes, we are almost pros. ALMOST... but we have saved a dime or two and learned how to do a lot on our own...having kids tends to bring on a little tighter budget, at least it did for us. Enjoy your new home!!! NOW, the nesting begins...
